REGISTRATION PROCESS:
Registration must be done through your Pack’s Twilight Camp Coordinator or Cub Master to the Gray Owl District. We will not accept individual registration unless you are the only one attending from your pack. Please DO NOT send Twilight Camp registration forms or monies to the Council office.
Registration will take place on:
May 5, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 pm at Roundtable.
May 14, 2011 from 10:30am-12:00 pm at the Rockwall County Library.
Early Bird Registration is April 7 thru May 14. (You are not guaranteed a T—shirt, patch or program supplies if you register after May 14.)
All forms and camp fees are needed to complete the registration process.

CAMPER AGE REQUIREMENTS & FEES
All registered Cub Scouts; ages 7-10, or have completed Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade by June, 2011 may attend. We will have a Tiger program at camp again this year. Each Tiger Cub must have an Adult Partner that stays with them all evening. Boys who have completed 5th grade or boys, who have completed their 2nd Webelos year as of June 2011 are excluded from Cub Twilight Camp and are encouraged to attend Boy Scout Camp. The fee covers camp Tshirt, patch, program supplies, and swim fee for Webelos. WE WLL BE OFFERING A FRIDAY NIGHT CAMP OUT FOR WEBELOS SCOUTS AND THEIR PARENT THIS YEAR. THE FEE WILL BE $5.00 EXTRA PER SCOUT.

BUSY BEAVERS/SIBLINGS
The Busy Beaver Areas are provided as a service for those Parent Leaders volunteering at Twilight camp and is run by adult volunteers. These younger brothers and sisters of campers are permitted to attend only on those days their parent is volunteering at Twilight camp.

JUNIOR STAFF/DEN CHIEF/VISITING TROOPS
Mature young men and young women age 14-18 can serve as Jr. Staff. The Camp Directors will make job assignments for these older boys and girls as needed in each activity area. Junior Staff will be expected to work in their assigned areas under the supervision of an adult volunteer. BSA accident insurance coverage is only provided for if you are registered in a BSA troop/crew. Age 12 and13 can work as a Den Chief with their SM and/or Parents OR with the same den they serve in the local pack.

ADULT CAMP DEN LEADERS
Each unit is responsible for providing an appropriate level of parent/volunteer leaders each day. We need at least 1 leader for every 4 boys registered. Each Tiger Cub will need to have an Adult Partner who stays with him all evening and completes the same paperwork as other adults at camp. Adults must complete 5 forms be at camp.
1) Camp registration form,
2) BSA medical form,
3) Volunteer Information Sheet,
4) Youth Protection and
5) Clear the Sex Offender verification.
The first 3 forms are included with the registration packet at grayowl.org. Look under “Camping.” Youth Protection should be completed online at myscouting.org if you are a registered leader, and have a done YPT in the last 12-month, you can log in with your user name and password and print out a card. If it has been more than 12 months since you complete YPT, please re-take the course and print the card to hand in with your paperwork. If you are a parent volunteer, please create a new account and complete the training. Print the card to hand in with other paperwork.
Sex Offender paper work is completed online. Log on to records.txdps.state.tx.us and look under the “Sex Offender Registry” section. Type in your name, county and gender. Print the results page to hand in with other registration forms and money.

Den Leader Training/Parent Orientation and Tee shirt delivery.
Saturday, June 11, 2011:
10am-noon at Harry Myers Park East Pavilion. (Near the Splash Park.)
Parents are invited to participate on Friday during Family Night. If you would like to spend the evening with your son, we encourage you to complete all required paperwork. Visitors are parents who will be staying for a short period of time and are allowed to be with the den with proper ID and check in at headquarters.

DAILY ESSENTIALS
Everyone must bring their own hat, bug spray, sunscreen, snacks and water bottle. Also check your booklet daily for program supply list. PLEASE MARK ALL BELONGINGS WITH NAME AND PACK #. Everything has to be taken home each night because we are in a public park.
EXTRA TEE SHIRTS
You may purchase extra tee shirts prior to camp to make it more convenient to have a clean uniform each day at camp. The cost of the tee shirts is $10. If you would like one, please indicate on your registration form.
TRADING POST
You may visit our Trading Post each evening during den time. We will have snacks and drinks for sale along with extra tee shirts, scout gear and theme related items. We will not sell sodas or candy.
FAMILY NIGHT
Friday will be filled with fun for the whole family! We will start with a picnic and then have our Egg Drop, some water games and lots of more fun. Bring mom and dad, brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins and even grandparents to join us for this fun evening!
WEBELOS CAMP OUT
Following the closing campfire on Friday Night, we will have a camp out for Webelos Scouts and their parent or guardian. This is NOT a family camp out and arrangements should be made for other siblings. You may set your tent up anytime after 5:00 pm on Friday by the amphitheatre. We will have a cracker barrel and an activity on Friday night after the Family Activities. Saturday morning we provide breakfast and have another activity. We will be out of the park by noon on Saturday.
