Philmont 2010
Circle Ten has a crew available with our Contingent I this summer. The crew would depart the evening of June 10th arriving Philmont the morning of June 11th and returning to the Council office on June 23rd. The cost is $910 per person. If you are interested in filling this crew or need more information contact scott.ferguson@scouting.org & latimerdk@verizon.net ASAP.
Several units have openings have openings for this summer including spots for both youth/adults and males/females. If interested in going this summer with another crew email latimerdk@verizon.net.
Northern Tier 2010
One unit has 3 openings for this summer and Northern Tier has openings available for this summer. If interested in the local openings contact me or if interested in a crew direct from Northern Tier check their website for available arrival dates.
Wilderness First Aid
Each crew attending Philmont and Northern Tier must have a least one member who has completed Wilderness First Aid and CPR. One member of each crew will have to present their current card upon check in. Click on the following link for information on local WFAB courses.

Sea Base 2010/2011
Sea Base has some openings for this summer. Check their website for details. If your unit has openings for this summer let me know. Registration for their 2011 lottery just closed. If interested in 2011 and your unit did not register for their lottery check their website in a few weeks for openings.
Philmont 2011
We have 4 crews of 12 members each available for 2011. The crews depart June 21st and return July 4th. Cost is $1050 per person. If your unit would like one of these crews email scott.ferguson@scouting.org & Latimerdk@verizon.net. The remaining crews will be awarded in order of when the emails are received.
Northern Tier 2011
We’re very excited to announce Circle Ten will offer 2 Council Contingents (24 crews of 8 members) to Northern Tier in 2011.
Each Contingent will consist of 12 crews. Each crew will consist of 8 members and Northern Tier requires the number of youth to be in majority. Each crew will have the choice of staying in the US (Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness) or Canada (Quetico Provincial Park). The cost per crew varies as the fees are higher for camping in Quetico Park.
The following rate includes transportation, NT fees, camping fees for BWCAW or Quetico Park and meals at base camp. Cost for a crew selecting BWCAW is $7200 ($900 each) and cost for Quetico Park is $8000 ($1000 each).
Fees that are not included are lightweight canoes, maps, fishing license, crew photos and meals while traveling to/from Northern Tier.
Contingent I will depart the Council office on June 30th ~ 5:00 pm and arrive NT 1:00 pm on July 1st. On July 1st you will prepare for hitting the water on July 2nd. You will come off the water on July 9th and depart for home July 10th returning to the Council office the morning of July 11th.
Contingent II will depart the Council office on July 9th ~ 12:00 pm by bus and arrive at Northern Tier ~9:00 AM on July 10th. On July 10th you will prepare for hitting the water on July 11th. You will come off the water on July 18th and depart for home July 19th returning to the Council office the morning of July 20th.
If your unit would like 1 or 2 crews send an email to scott.ferguson@scouting.org & Latimerdk@verizon.net with your first choice of contingents. Crews will be awarded in order of email request. Deposit of $400 per crew will be due in two weeks.
